Have you ever wandered through someone’s house and found your heart beating faster for the way the decor inspires you differently? Or left a neighbor’s home with a sense of belonging that motivated you to replicate the hospitality of welcome? Found yourself drawn toward friendship because someone was eager to bless you more than impress you?

Today I’m sharing a story at Grace Table about a lunch date with a new friend here in London that teaches me about embracing the art of considering. I have often approached the gift of welcome in hospitality like eating lunch at my kitchen counter.  Filling an empty slot on the calendar, I overlook the art of considering others. and the way it can inspire creativity.

Join me at Grace Table for this month’s theme, The Hospitality of Art. A chair is pulled out and waiting for you.
