It’s as if God whispered, “They need to rest,” and our small patch of the earth froze while waiting to return to life as we know it. And sometimes when the world tilts an extravagant heaviness of worry, he turns rain into snow, blankets the beach in ice, and you remember beauty is what makes your heart thump. Just long enough to have fun with your camera, sip hot chocolate, and wear yoga pants for longer than seems reasonable.

Whether forced or anticipated, may your Sabbath be a melting of life as usual — a wordless surrender to trust.

Happy Sabbath Friends!

It is a gift to capture emotion like this as a photographer.

These exquisite photos have been shared millions of times, literally, but in case you missed it, you’re in for a treat.

This takes being productive during your children’s naptime to new heights.
