Before entering the wide expanse of freedom, we must feel the weight of wrestling through our work. In the surrender of passion for what is needful on our plate, we satiate soul hunger with faithfulness to Peace.

Responsibility comes first otherwise freedom is an egregious theft. The same way rest is a gift in relinquishment when you trust God with your work.

As you awaken on the heels of celebrating independence, may you experience freedom in rest. Though Sabbath may seem a sacrifice of precious minutes, it’s actually a letting go for what is better.

Happy Sabbath Friends!
