But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way,

who can’t see where they’re going.

I’ll be a personal guide to them,

directing them through unknown country.

I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take,

make sure they don’t fall into the ditch.

These are the things I’ll be doing for them —

sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.

Isaiah 42:16

Take a step of courage, out of your comfort zone into the great uncertainty. Whisper one little word – Jesus – and he’ll be right there beside you, in your living room, car, bedroom, and here, right in front of your computer. Starting Sabbath might be the greatest act of bravery you’ll accomplish this week.

Resistance to rest will eventually become futile. The heavenly host outnumber the army waging war in the battle for your attention.

When you don’t know how to begin, surrender. And allow Jesus to guide you one step, one decision toward inner peace at a time.

Happy Sabbath Friends!
