This is what the Lord says:
“Stop at the crossroads and look around.
Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it.
Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.
Jeremiah 6:16
When you realize using the microwave, your cell phone and Google hasn’t made you more peaceful with extra time for rest, you choose to become an old-timer. Truth is unchanging, satisfying and freeing — who wouldn’t want that?
Return to the old ways that work. Beauty is found in the wrinkles of well-worn pages in the Good Book. Meander in meadows of goodness and rest in the familiar. Sometimes being old fashioned is hip.
