A Verdant Sabbath

As you wander around this weekend, whether clomping through puddles in boots or pushing newly painted toes into a sandy beach at sunset, may the verdant landscape of your heart be a sign of God’s faithfulness to others. While you were busy producing as a consumer the past six days life continues to flourish around you. Sabbath is waiting for you to notice the simple beauty.

Watch the birds and remember their freedom from work as a parable of your provision. They lack nothing and God’s faithfulness continues unhindered.

Happy Sabbath Friends!

lovely sentiments Shelly. My son and visited elderly step-dad in his retirement village and enjoyed all the birds as we wandered around little lakes- very peaceful and contemplative like the mood of your post today.
