How can I rest in the midst of all there is to do?
That is precisely why you must.
Fear drives out the love. When you work from fear, there is no love in your work. And we don’t want your loveless art. So give the world and yourself a gift and stop.
You are beloved. So take some time to be loved.
~Emily Freeman, A Million Little Ways
May Sabbath be like wiping the bathroom mirror of your foggy thinking as you choose rest over work. Know His love is unchangeable regardless of your productivity or lack of it. The world will continue spinning when you stop and take your hands off. And perspective will be much clearer.
Happy Sabbath Friends!

This is great, such a good reminder. Everywhere I am seeing the word rest. Thanks for this post.
Thanks for visiting, appreciate your comment. I agree rest is a sacred echo for me too.
One of my favorite verses; beautiful photos.
Thank you Susan, appreciate your kindness.
What Susan said. Exactly.
And Emily’s words about sharing loveless art… whoa moment.
Happy Sabbath, friend. xo
I know, I’m loving her book Sandy.
Those photos, perfection!
Dear Shelly
My “normal” is just the opposite for suffering fromFm/CFS I am mostly housebound and then need to still most of the time. That is also a “work” I sometimes crave to”rest” from, but we know that our Beloved Lord never takes us where He cannot keep us and when we cannot go on at all, He picks us up and caries us in Hid loving arms.
Blessings XX
Mia
As usual, it was wonderful to “see” you. You’re photos and words always catch hearts to turn deeper and deeper to our Lord. Bless you.
Such a good word when I’m sooooo tempted to defend myself. That’s not what He wants.
