Saturdays Are For Seeing

by | Oct 1, 2011 | Saturday

On a quiet walk this week, before the school bell rings, with camera in hand, I see His glory revealed in what he creates.  Rumble of thunder, shifting of clouds overhead; they witness to the Almighty. This presence brings peace. This seeing restores.

Wherever life takes you in your wanderings today, I pray you take a few moments from the busy to see.  See Him in all the beauty.  Rejoice in who He is today . . .

Let all that I am praise the Lord.

O Lord my God, how great you are!  You are robed with honor and majesty.

You are dressed in a robe of light.

You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens; you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds.

You make the clouds your chariot; you ride upon the wings of the wind.

The winds are your messengers; flames of fire are your servants.

You placed the world on its foundation so it would never be moved.

The birds nest beside the streams and sing among the branches of the trees.

You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home, and you the fill the earth with the fruit of your labor. ~Psalm 104:1-5, 12-13

Pictures taken at Brookgreen Gardens in Pawleys Island, SC.  Linking up with her today to see the beauty.

Wonderful pictures! Live oaks (with Spanish moss) are my favorite trees! Beauty is so important to the well being of our hearts. I enjoyed seeing beauty through your eyes today.

Thanks so much. Yes, I too love those grand live oaks. Feel like I am taken back a few hundred years with them. Glad you visited today and took the time to leave a comment.

All your shots are so beautiful and truly capture the glory of God. It is hard to choose which photo I like the best as they are all so magnificant.

Thank you so much! I put my camera down for awhile because the subjects (my kids) grew up and didn’t want me photographing them. It has been fun to pick it up again and “see”. I tried to get to your site tonite but the url wasn’t working. Thanks for visiting me and leaving a comment.
